I started with zero followers subscribers fans and ideas
I spent five years holding my craft as a songwriter
Rejected disappointed
Show after show song after song before I finally had any success
Which was halfway across the globe in Japan
It took another five years
Before I ever got recognized in my own country
So yeah overnight success ten years in the makin'
Championships aren't won in the ring
With lights and a cheering crowd
They're won in solitude training in the gym
Day after day rep after rep when no one's lookin'
If you want big results
Be willing to do the small things that lead you there
Brick by brick hit after hit
Joinin' a gym is a good start but then you gotta show up
Don't just buy a temporary feeling of health
And exercise with a membership
Do the work
Otherwise don't get mad
When you don't have the six-pack abs or the model figure
Have you ever wondered why successful people don't win the lottery
It's because they don't buy lottery tickets
Success is choices not chances
Yet so many people will risk their money
Thousands of dollars over their lifetime gambling
With the worst odds imaginable
But they claim starting a business or going for their dream is too risky
A true soldier fights not because he hates what's in front of him
But because he loves what's behind him
Eliminate the possibility of failing from your mind
Go all in give life everything you've got
